Building on the strength of the university’s leadership team, Huron President Dr. Barry Craig welcomes the arrival of Huron’s first ever Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Erica Willick CPA, CA.

“As our new CFO, Erica will be instrumental in shaping and executing the financial strategy and contributing to the overall success of Huron’s unique mission in the market,” said Dr. Craig. “She has a proven track record as a strategic financial leader with over 20 years’ experience in helping mission-driven organizations meet the complex needs of their stakeholders and compete in a variety of sectors.”

Erica is a Chartered Professional Accountant, with an HBA from Ivey Business School and holds a certificate in CFO Leadership from the Rotman School of Management. She has also taught fourth year courses at the Ivey Business School.

Prior to arriving at Huron, Erica spent several years as the Chief Operating Officer at Callon Dietz Inc. engineering firm and earlier as Director of Finance at Dillon Consulting. She has most recently helped lead an ambitious $20M fundraising and capital project to build the new Humane Society facility in London as the Director of Finance and Capital Project Manager at the Humane Society, London & Middlesex.

As someone with a passion for collaboration and community development, Erica feels her personal interests are well aligned with the university’s vision. "I am most excited about supporting Huron’s mission that nurtures current and future leaders who will make a positive difference in the world. Like anything, it takes a community of dedicated people working together to create a truly sustainable future," she says.

Erica’s experience and acumen will help build upon Huron’s recent growth and support the Huron community in meeting its goals as outlined within its new strategic plan.

Dr. Craig invites the Huron community to join him in giving Erica a warm welcome to Huron.
