Assistant Professor, Political Science
Every generation needs to prioritize their understanding of political systems, so they are well-informed enough to advocate for and against significant issues that will affect the health and wellbeing of their local and global communities.
I look forward to welcoming keen young learners into my classroom to take them on a journey of Canada’s government and political systems. Together, we will investigate the uniquely Canadian elements of these structures and aim to understand how they differ from other countries, how they shape and are shaped by our shared beliefs, as well as concentrate on better understanding the challenges and opportunities our country’s government present.
My students will learn to critically analyze various political systems and gain the ability to thoughtfully comment on past and current events. This is essential for establishing oneself as an engaged citizen and for building upon students’ foundational attributes of Leadership with Heart, so they’re ready to tackle whatever the political future holds.
