Huron Remembers: A Remembrance Day Ceremony

Nov 11th
10:45am - 11:15am
Huron Chapel

On Monday, Nov. 11 from 10.45 AM – 11.15 AM, the Huron Chapel will host a Remembrance Day Service.

A bugler will mark the two minutes of silence with The Last Post and Reveille, after which a Piper will play the Flowers of the Forest Lament. Students will read lessons, and the names of Huron’s Killed in Action will be read. The recovered Communion Kit of Huron alumnus, Padre Walter Brown will be displayed. (Padre Brown was the only allied chaplain to be executed in WWII.) The Huron choir will sing Tavener’s Funeral Ikos.

All are welcome. Lest we forget.
