Dr. Mustapha’s new research project is part of a larger initiative that is forming among emerging scholars of Southeast Asian regional relations in Canada.

Congratulations to Dr. Jennifer Mustapha (Political Science), the 2019-20 recipient of the McGorman Family Faculty Development Fund!

Dr. Mustapha’s new research project is part of a larger initiative that is forming among emerging scholars of Southeast Asian regional relations in Canada. Her approach to the politics of the region challenges traditional state-centric approaches, incorporates diverse actors and interdisciplinary questions, and positions regional political questions within broader conceptions of governance.

The McGorman Fund is awarded annually to a faculty member whose research project can be described as “leading-edge” in their field and contributes to enhancing the profile of Huron as a place of higher learning.
