French Studies

The Department of French and Asian Studies has 0.5 French course available for the upcoming academic year (2020-2021): French 3301A (Contemporary French Translation), offered during the first semester.

  • Description du cours: Pratique de la traduction de l’anglais au français et du français à l’anglais en se servant d’une variété de sources contemporaines. Exploration des techniques de la traduction.

Preferred qualifications: ABD or Ph.D. in French; evidence of successful teaching of at least one translation course at the university level; native or near-native fluency in French and English.
